Be Part of the Work, Not Just the Story

EmpoweredMinds Achieve turns EcoStitch apparel trades, STEAM/AI, financial literacy, and mental well-being into real-world skills. When you get involved—as a volunteer, mentor, speaker, partner, or donor—you help youth and adults build careers, confidence, and a more sustainable future.

There is a place for your time, your voice, your expertise, and your resources here.

For now, all volunteer, mentor, speaker, and partnership inquiries are routed through our Contact page. Just mention how you’d like to get involved in your message.

How Each Role Supports the Mission

Use the dropdowns below to learn what each role involves. When you’re ready, click through to our Contact or Donate pages and tell us which opportunity fits you best.

Option 1 Volunteer or Mentor

Volunteers and mentors walk alongside youth and adults as they learn new skills, from threading a machine for the first time to building a portfolio or preparing for a mock interview.

  • Support EcoStitch sewing labs, sustainability projects, and upcycling challenges.
  • Help facilitate STEAM/AI activities, design thinking, or basic digital tools.
  • Mentor students exploring careers in fashion, design, tech, entrepreneurship, or trades.
  • Assist with events, showcases, and behind-the-scenes logistics.
Option 2 Speaker or Teaching Artist

Speakers and teaching artists bring real-world experience into EMA spaces, helping learners connect what they’re learning to careers, entrepreneurship, and life.

  • Lead a session on sustainable fashion, apparel trades, product development, or branding.
  • Teach a workshop in AI, digital design, robotics, or creative technology.
  • Share your journey in business, finance, mental well-being, or leadership.
  • Co-design a short series, masterclass, or panel conversation with the EMA team.
Option 3 Community & Employer Partners

Community centers, schools, libraries, and employers are key to how EmpoweredMinds Achieve expands access. Together, we co-create learning and workforce pathways.

  • Host EcoStitch, sustainable fashion, or STEAM/AI programs at your site.
  • Offer internships, job-shadowing, or career-day opportunities for students.
  • Provide in-kind donations such as fabric, machines, workplace tours, or professional services.
  • Collaborate on outcomes, impact metrics, and stories that align with your ESG and community goals.
Option 4 Donate or Sponsor

Financial support keeps our programs accessible and sustainable—from sewing machines and supplies to stipends, scholarships, and innovation labs.

  • Make a one-time or recurring gift to support day-to-day programming.
  • Sponsor a cohort, workshop series, showcase, or specific school/community site.
  • Fund scholarships, certification fees, or paid internships for learners.
  • Give through Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, or Zeffy (see our Donate page for details).

Not Sure Where You Fit Yet?

That’s okay. Some people start as volunteers and grow into mentors. Others begin as donors and later host programs at their sites. If you care about sustainability, education, career pathways, and emotional well-being, we can find a way for you to plug in.
